A rare example of unanimous acclaim in every place and context he passes through due to his technique and stupendous creativity, Peter Evans is one of this century’s most important figures in jazz and improvisation. On OUT.FEST 2019's opening day at the beautiful Santo André Parochial Church, he graced us with a magical solo performance that we now present to you in full, interspersed with some of the artist's thoughts on his work and his experience as an improviser.
